I don't think that this is really a secret. I do believe that chance is a fine thing - when it is time for an individual to awaken - it shall be.
I have always believed that the lessons I have endured and embraced on this journey, were indeed lessons I chose. Not always pretty, nor loving... and yet despite all that - I am loved. I am so much more. Life is good.
Yes, life is good. It is a choice and we write the script with our thoughts. I like Beckwith, as the rest of the cast of the Secret talk riches in mostly money. He talks the spiritual aspects and I think that is far more important.
I have had some pretty tough, hard lessons and for a while was kind of pissy about them. But now I choose to see them as gifts and lessons so that I could grow. And for me, the whole biz centers around one aspect, and that is being in balance and loving each other for who they "is" Yesterday does not count or matter, and tomorrow is not even close to here, but this moment that is the only opportunity I have. You are indeed loved Katie. Life is Great
He does lean more towards Spirituality and I appreciated that.
Lately I've started feeling claustrophobic due to the "things" I own. Oddly enough most of it is art supplies so it is not like the scraps of material, yarn have a lot of value. I gathered up some of the excess to pass on. I still have too many "things" but I am downsizing daily.
A few years back I gave away everything I owned from my truck to my microwave. All my belongings fit on the back of my two pack horses. I've started simplifying again because I feel more at peace and in balance when I'm "there".
i don't buy the secret. i've seen the video. some of the principles are pretty much common sense....but the whole thing is quite narcissistic. stuart davis has a very good review of the secret...you might want to check it out (there's a link from my blog to his). i have an opinion about the secret, but am open to debate, as always. ;)
